How we told lies to save lives
The Brief
Drug Aware had an eye-opening stat. Only 22% of young people aged 15-24 years had reported using illicit drugs in the past 12 months (2019) (National Drug Strategy Household Survey (NDSHS) 2019) - a clear statistic that challenged a bigger misconception.
The Response
We wanted to present this stat in a way that would resonate with our audience to debunk the “everyone’s doing it” myth. Something that didn’t feel preachy or authoritative. So we created a snappy tune that pokes fun at all the little white lies we tell ourselves and each other.
